Intern, Finance & Accounts
Responsibilities:
Issue payments against invoices on time by either cheque or cash. Must ensure all expenses are approved and justified with necessary supporting documents according to IFRC/Hia’s policies and procedures;
Manage petty cash as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs);
Support the monthly and year-end closing procedure;
Assist in preparing and processing cash forecast for the delegation in a timely manner;
Maintain all financial documents
Assist in identifying variances in actual expenditure and the budget;
Assist with auditing expenses, checking financial documents, invoices, etc. to ensure adequate documentation, coding, and reporting of financial transactions;
Prepare monthly financial reports;
Ensure VAT and tax deductions are compliant with Government rules and regulations;
Monitor compliance with Hia’s and investor requirements, rules and regulations;
Provide support to complete internal & external audit;
Maintain bank accounts and banking affairs
Desired Candidate Profile:
Education:
BBA/MBA in Accounting/Finance
Experience:
Experience in analyzing, planning and managing finance and budget will be a plus!
Skills:
Personal qualities should include integrity, commitment to public service, independent thinker, team player, and an eye for detail
Knowledge and skills in general administration, procurement, operational guidelines and tools
Excellent G Suite skills (including Gmail, Google Calendar, and Google Drive)
Advanced Word, Excel, PowerPoint, G Suite, Salesforce and internet skills
Attention to detail and a dedication to accuracy
Salary Range: BDT 6000- BDT 7000
